In 1977 Stephen Scott founded The Melbourne Rock Candy Company. Using machines dating back to the early 17th century, armed with traditional recipes and working from his Mother’s kitchen, thus began his lifelong passion with creating candy. Today’s range of products incorporate his own unique recipes and production methods to manufacture boiled lollies and other tasty sweets.
Steve’s passion to know his suppliers and clients, and dedication to delivering quality sweets underpins the company’s ethos. Now with more staff and apprentices The Melbourne Rock Candy Company will continue to deliver nostalgic sweets to candy lovers in Australia and all over the world.
The majority of our delicious sweets are made with corn syrup for its superior taste and wonderful texture. So unless specified otherwise on the packaging, the sweets are 100% gluten free.
